This weekends engagement shoot was so much fun!
I planed a route for us from Café Landwer on university to Osgoode Hall And then out to Polson Pier for a few night photos.
The cafe was very obliging for our spontaneous engagement session - excellent hard working staff and amazing drinks - I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their selection.
Walking to Osgoode hall didn’t take too long, I remember when I first discovered this as shoot location and it’s remained one of my favourites over the years.
I always like to have a moment on an engagement shoot for the couple to practice their first dance, I play their song and it’s a sweet moment - what I wasn’t expecting was a full out waltz with excellent form - Daniel is very passionate!
We ended the shoot at Polson Pier for some photos of the city skyline in the background, the nearby suspension bridges provided awesome leading lines and the traffic with their headlights really helped make parts of that scene very cinematic.
I’d like to hear from you as well, do you prefer shooting in daylight at a cute cafe and beautiful architecture or the dramatic night photography with city lights?
