On May 2nd, Scarborough felt more like late winter than spring — a chilly 2°C that definitely caught me off guard. Safe to say, I was not dressed for that kind of cold. But despite the freezing breeze, the morning turned out to be something special.
We headed to Guild Park & Gardens at 10 AM for Ankit and Bony’s pre-baby shower shoot, and to my surprise, the park was incredibly peaceful. If you’ve ever shot there, you know how rare that is. Usually, every beautiful corner comes with a waiting game, hoping crowds clear out for those perfect frames. But this time, it felt like the entire park was ours — quiet pathways, calm energy, and uninterrupted access to some of the best spots.
That peaceful setting made the whole session even more magical. We spent a solid hour capturing this beautiful chapter for them, and honestly, every minute was worth braving the cold. I had my usual two-camera setup ready to go, switching between my trusted 35mm for those wider storytelling shots and the 85mm for the intimate, emotional moments that really make these sessions timeless.
And as always, cold weather never stops the ladies from showing up with extra grace and determination. No matter how low the temperature drops, there’s always that incredible effort to make every picture look flawless — because these memories matter. That dedication always deserves appreciation.
Ankit and Bony absolutely nailed their session. Their chemistry, excitement, and joy made everything so effortless, and we genuinely had such a fun time creating together. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do — capturing not just photos, but milestones.
The best part? Delivering their gallery within just a few hours and hearing how much they loved their pictures. That kind of reaction never gets old.
Now, this was just the beginning — and I’m already excited because their maternity session later this month is going to be another beautiful story to tell.
