Northern Yellow Warbler
Just as we were finishing the last trail at Point Pelee National Park, this little one came by to say goodbye. He stood still for just a fleeting moment, just enough for me to catch him.

Giving me the cold shoulders… this spotting of a green heron made the weekend trip to Point Pelee sooo worth it. At first, I saw it in the open, full sun on it, and not all too flattering photographing wise. But then it flew into a shaded area… and wow, I could be luckier. Hope you like.

The humble dandelion (aka Taraxacum).. a perennial that is often overlooked, often despised, but did you know that it’s completely edible and packed with nutrients, with more vitamin A than spinach and more vitamin C than tomatoes. From a photographer’s perspective, they are pretty amazing, intricate and detailed. Trying to change perception. 😬
Shot on and respectively.

My patch of Lily of the Valley (well, several patches in the backyard). This is probably the bigger patch growing along the slope leading to the ravine and creek. It was such a rainy weekend. Perfect time to bring out the to take this lil video. Hope you enjoy.

Every morning was a cheerful invitation to make my life of equal simplicity, and I may say innocence, with Nature herself. - Henry David Thoreau

Beautiful and delicate are these blossoms from the cucumber Magnolia (aka magnolia acuminata).
