Been a while since I've posted but as usual, things are ever changing and my next life adventure is just around the corner so I've been busy making it happen!

What an experience! I recently completed my first deployment with wildland firefighting. But I'm not posting this to talk about that (even though it was incredible on every level) I'm using this photo specifically to show what we've all heard time and time again, "it's not what you use, it's how you use it." Prime example! Believe it or not, I took this shot with my trusty old cellphone, complete with a thin coating of ash, salt water, and dirt on my hands. Don't think you have to go spend thousands of dollars on professional gear, you just gotta utilize what you've got and learn the tricks of your tools!
