The storm last night seemed like the ideal time to us to head out for photos, cool off and light a few ci**rs.
Alberta weather has been wild but… it’s also very pretty and with their wedding reception tent as the back drop these final images last night were the perfect way to end off one heck of an incredible day with these two .

Adventuring to one of our personal favourite places in the mountains! We got to explore some familiar spots and discover new ones with these two and as a bonus the wild flowers were all perfectly in bloom to sit and enjoy a glass of bubbly and play with their pups.
We loved getting to know these two before their wedding day in a few months and can’t wait to work with them again on their day!

14 years into our business and typically the Friday before the wedding is a normal day for us going no wedding things butttttt there are a few families I’d give up Friday for and this one is top of the dang list.
3 weddings on this acreage and it took me until the drive out the day before to remember it’s never actually mattered if the weather did what we asked it to, the weather is always second place to the emotion of the day and this day .. well it wasn’t short on emotion.
You don’t get to choose the weather of your day but you do choose how you embrace it and this wedding will always be a lasting reminder that with enough will power, community and genuine care your day will be exactly as it should have been from the very beginning .

By the end of your engagement session, my hope is that you forget the camera is even there. That all of the poses are just part of having the most fun together and later as a fun bonus you get really lovely photos to remember it all with. Our evening spent with these two was pretty darn perfect, it was a Smokey night in the city which meant we got the prettiest diffused soft glowy lightening to shoot in as we explore some favourite and some new spaces!
