My beautiful niece Bella visited me from Australia for a few weeks and we had a great time getting to know each other as two adults. Bella was 4 years old when I left Australia to immigrate to Canada, what a strange journey time is! Now 18, she’s on the cusp of adulthood and on the tail end of her childhood. Bella is observant, wildly funny and sharp as a whip. She’s a little s**t at getting up early but makes up for it with bass skills.

We drank pints of beer, listened to Alice In Chains on repeat in the car and spent a few nights in the back country. Godspeed kiddo! Till next time.
