It’s my favourite time of year! Every February when the cold starts to really settle in, I open a limited number of in-home creative sessions for individuals, couples, and families in the Bow Valley.

These are personal portrait sessions, not intended for business marketing, but as a sentimental keepsake. This is the style of work that is the heart of my practice. Capturing people as they are gives me space to experiment and create something honest and intimate. My portrait work has always been where my heart lies, but commercial work keeps food on the table - you know how it goes!

I’m now booking these discounted sessions for March and April only.

Cold weather getting you down?

One of my favorite places to shoot is in people’s homes. While living in such a beautiful area means most people want outdoor portraits, I feel like we miss out on the opportunity to capture you in your own space, a place that reflects your inner world and where you feel most at home. We often hesitate to have photos taken in our homes because they’re not “perfect,” but in the pursuit of a polished life, we end up overlooking the magic of the spaces we inhabit.
