I had the privilege of documenting an incredible Tai Chi event hosted by .ca . I’ve photographed portraits for Wendy's business several times over the years, and it was such an honour to be invited to capture this beautiful gathering she and her partner, Denis, brought to life.

I’ve been documenting this beautiful family for so many years now, and they’ve become the family I’ve photographed more than anyone else. Every year they choose my Year in the Life package, and every year we add more chapters to their story.

All this time together has built a comfort that feels so rare — on both sides. They welcome me like family, and while I’m with them, I truly feel like I’m part of theirs. That trust lets me capture the real stuff… the raw, the tender, the hilarious, and the beautifully unfiltered moments that make them them.

I am forever grateful for their love, their trust, and the honour of holding these memories for them.

Quite often, I get to document moments that remind me how quickly our children grow.
I’ve known this birthday girl since her toddler days, and seeing her celebrate another year—painting, laughing, and roasting treats in the gently falling snow—was the kind of heartwarming day I’ll never forget.
It truly felt like a snow globe brought to life.
