There's a stretch of golden hour at Le Belvédère that we now specifically try to plan around, and Sophie & Woo-Jin got the absolute best version of it. Soft light, that view behind them, and two people who could not stop laughing at each other's jokes.

This is the part of the day we shoot for. Just the two of them, no crowd, no schedule, a few quiet minutes to actually feel like newlyweds.

Every table at Laura & John's reception told you exactly who they are, warm, unfussy, and full of little personal touches instead of anything trying too hard.

Kelly's Flowers Perth kept the arrangements soft and seasonal, and paired with the vineyard views right outside, it made for one of the prettiest rooms we've shot all year. Sometimes the best design choice is just knowing when to let a beautiful venue do the talking.

If you want to see what an all-out celebration looks like, this is it. Melanie & Ian's dance floor at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club filled up early and did not stop, we're talking full sprint, shoes off, everyone-in kind of dancing.

Ottawa Dance Floors built the space for it and it delivered all night long. Some weddings are elegant and quiet, some are pure joyful chaos. This one was very much the second, in the best way.

The design team on this wedding did not miss a single detail, and honestly, neither did we. When a couple invests this much thought into florals, stationery, and the little things, it's our favourite kind of gallery to shoot.

Ana & Joanna's day was full of gorgeous small moments before it ever got to the ceremony. The dress, the rings, the quiet minutes with their closest people. We tried to capture every bit of it.

Before the cathedral, before the dancing, there's always this quiet little window in the morning where everything is anticipation. Sarah's getting-ready suite at the Andaz was calm, sunny, and full of the kind of nervous excitement that makes wedding mornings so special to be part of.

We love this part of the day almost as much as the ceremony itself. It's quieter, but it's where you really get to know a couple's people, the friends doing up buttons, the mom trying not to cry too early.
