Honestly the funnest thing I've been hired for EVER and it needs to become the norm! These 4 got together for their friend Sinas birthday and surprised her with a weekend in the city in a rented high rise apartment. They brought me in on the first night to capture their friendship and holy I haven't heard laughter like that in so long!

I printed off a bunch of poses and put them in a jar for them to pull and recreate and we sure blew through the time fast! It was so freaking fun and we captured all this cuteness!

Don't hire a stripper, hire a photographer! Duh!!

I really feel so pulled to speak about AI but I get nervous and can't organize my bloody thoughts for the life of me. It's imperative to realize that most of us are familiar with it and it's tones now and we can tell when it's a robot writing, organizing, planning. For me personally it's such a bloody turn off especially when folks are putting a price tag on its works. There's no human there and I'm feeling it so hard. I hope you feel it too and make a choice to put your own time and effort into your works and your businesses. I want to hear YOUR voice. I want to know you!

This entire winter I've been studying composition. I've found some super cool books on photography at the thrift stores! I'm not much for retaining information since kids apparently but I definitely feel I'm rewiring my brain and seeing things differently.

I want to be very clear publicly that I don't look much like this in real life. I honestly don't know how I managed to capture these here this week, I feel haggard AF. There is some retouching done to these, although I like and need to be as light as possible being a freckly human but it's mostly good lighting, angles and a lot of trial and error- sucking in cheeks, pushing out lips, hiding and pulling fat around. I know most of you know what I look like in real life 🫠🚬 but for those who don't, don't be shocked when we meet in person hahaa.

Photographing myself is how this whole shebang started, I'm learning and practicing all the time and I for sure get a dopamine response. I want to feel good in my skin with all the changes and I don't alot of the time so I find this helps...temporarily haha! TIA for the support and attention, I feel like I need it these days! All living beings do, I've learned 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's ok!

On that note...Don't give me no bs about my pit hair.... I reckon its contributing to composition 🤣

Quite different work for me but I had a go at Nanton's THE BANK pub + grill's content just for fun last month! It was actually fun to do this! I feel like I was always in love with video over photography but I've just never given myself a chance to get into it on the business end of things! This year I will dabble more and find my way back!

Got up and hit the trails before the blizzard hit yesterday! Got the beginning of it at the end of our hike! Forrest loves hiking and wanted to be our guide! He did great! Whipped my ass.

This little creek here is covered in moss and I have got to revisit it. If I'm up and running next year and your desires to be captured as the mystical swamp lady that you are become so strong you just can't hold back a second longer, hit me up - I've got just the spot!
