Welcome to my Celebration of Dogs: A Dog Photography Showcase! 🐾

�This is an exciting step in my Dog Photography career! ❤️ I’m so happy to show my work to fellow dog lovers in my favourite format - big, bold WALL ART!

The Showcase opened last week and runs until May 30th. Many thanks to The Carolinian Cafe Cayuga for hosting it!

Please drop by, see the sweet pups, enjoy a meal or a coffee, donate to my rescue partners, Border Collie Rescue Ontario & Ladybird Animal Sanctuary, and even ENTER TO WIN a Dog Photography Session!!

I have some cute stickers, magnets, keychains and other goodies for sale at The Carolinian and those sales will also benefit my rescue partners.

I’ve been busy getting ready for my Showcase!!

My dining room was a bit buried in wall art boxes, but they’ve now been packed in the car and we’re headed to The Carolinian Cafe in Cayuga! The Celebration of Dogs: A Dog Photography Showcase opens this Saturday with a reception from 1-3! Come join us!

You're invited! I’m excited to invite you to the Opening Reception of my Dog Photography Showcase!

Celebration of Dogs: A Dog Photography Showcase opens on April 18th! Please join me at The Carolinian Cafe in Cayuga from 1pm to 3pm for snacks and coffee, and of course some gorgeous Dog Photography Artwork!

During the run of the Showcase there will be chances to WIN a Dog Photography Session, plus Session specials and giveaways from local businesses! Enter at The Carolinian Cafe to win!!

Artwork will be available for sale and a portion will benefit Border Collie Rescue Ontario (www.bordercollierescueont.com) and Ladybird Animal Sanctuary. Donations also accepted!

The Showcase will run from April 18th through May 30th. If you can’t make it for the Opening Reception, I hope you’ll try to drop by when you’re in the area during the run of the Showcase! The Carolinian Cafe is a strong supporter of local artists and businesses, and has amazing food and coffee too! Go and enjoy a lovely meal and support local!

3 Tips to take BETTER PHOTOS of your pet!

I know your phone’s photo app is OVERFLOWING with photos of your pet! How would I know that?? Should I share the total number of photos on my phone and the percentage that are pets… hmm that could be embarrassing… 🙈 I think I might hold some sort of record of the total number of photos of dogs, cats, cockatiels, fish, ducks, frogs, random squirrels, and the occasional Canada Goose residing in my pocket! lol

Think your dog can’t sit still long enough for a photography session with me? 🤔

All I need is a split-second (likely just 1/1200th of a second!) to capture your dog looking fantastic! 📸

They don’t have to sit, down, or even stand still for long for me to grab what I need - fast shutter speeds are essential!

I have many tricks and tools in my photographer’s toolbox to help your dog! I’m committed to making the experience as positive, relaxing, and fun as possible.

My background in Dog Training and managing many dogs over the past 22 years in my Dogsitting business gives me a great advantage in knowing how to get the best out of your dog. 🐾🐾

So, don’t worry! Your dog can have a session with me and together we’ll create gorgeous artwork to make you smile for years to come!

Your dog is a REAL dog who moves, wiggles, comes in for a kiss, yawns, drools, sticks out a tongue, or blinks while I try to create his images.

Eventually, we get what we need! 😉

Meet BCRO’s Tia! 🐾❤️

So pleased to have played a small part in getting this sweet girl to her new home!! Tia was just with us overnight from her relinquishment to her adoption pickup, but, wow, what a cool dog!! If she hadn’t been spoken for I would have been mighty tempted!! 🤪❤️
