As many of my friends know.. Lily’s has been having seizures the last week..scary.. she had another last night and a bad one today 😢 so.. Update
Trip to vet😩 thank god for credit cards!
Lily doesn’t have diabetes or kidney failure.. good news.. most of tests came back good.. white blood cells were off but that’s expected when sick.. fighting off toxins. Kinda like my lupus.. lol
The bad news.. her liver.. I don’t know doctor speak but.. she ate (?)something toxic?? May never know what. First was drugs/ something with drugs on it, moldy bread ( mold very bad and if she got something that was buried in moldy leaves too? )or pesticides.. ( sub bun with garlic did not cause it.. she would need to eat a lot of garlic to effect her) thank God.. they may never know what was involved but she’s on meds( 4 a day which she hates and spits out) to help expel the toxins from her liver. She may continue to have seizures.. forever? They don’t know.. if liver heals they may stop. ??
One day at a time.. and prayers🙏
( also some suggestions as she’s fighting meds.. alternating good treats with them didn’t work, cheese slices wrapped around didn’t go well.. I managed to crush and wrap in cheese and hold mouth together ( she sucked cheese off and spit pill back out)but I can’t keep doing that) will try peanut butter in morning but if you have more suggestions, im open) meds stink lol

We also found out that Hailey ( hope I spelled it right)…( she took Lily’s blood) is a follower.. thank you for taking care of my baby❤️
We would like to thank the Doctor and staff at Charlottetown Vet Clinic ❤️ for their help ( and many many many many treats) for helping us and fitting us in😢 it’s very scary and traumatic( more for me) . 🙏
She also lost a few pounds? Hair??😂 94.4 from 98 lbs
