This June marks five years of Jane’s Island Photography, and I still can’t believe I get to call this my job.

I’ve spent the last few years figuring out what lights me up and the kind of work I want to be known for. The answer has always been the same, adventure weddings and elopements.

I love getting to know my couples - not just on their wedding day, but throughout the entire journey. From engagement sessions to the vision call, and dreaming together, it’s such a privilege to be part of these moments. By the time the wedding arrives, it feels like I’m celebrating dear friends.

I feel incredibly lucky to have built a business around what I truly love: documenting adventurous love stories and creating an experience that feels personal from start to finish.

The greatest feeling in life? Feeling like you are truly living. Soaking up the small moments each and every day.

For me, it’s hearing my daughters giggle, watching our flowers grow, my husband making pancakes in the morning, soaking up the sun in our backyard, and spending almost every evening by the coast watching another incredible sunset because of this job I love so much.

My little world brings me immeasurable amounts of joy, and for that I’ll be forever grateful ❤️
