There have been a lot of new faces here lately, so I wanted to take a moment to share how Tripod Dog Photography came to be.
While a tripod is a piece of camera equipment, it was also what I called my three-legged dog, Tucker. He was my first dog, and my soul dog. I had him for twelve years.
Whenever I picked up my camera, he made sure to pose—always ready with the best expressions and the most personality. When I decided to name my photography business, it felt only right to name it after him.
I lost Tucker a few months later to a sudden medical emergency, but his legacy is still with me every time I crouch down and capture the perfect photo of someone’s beloved pet.
Without him, I wouldn’t have had the nerve to start this—and I’m endlessly grateful for everything he gave me. Including this. 💙
