Ella + Caleb got married in the dessert and it was truly speechless. 🥺

Here are a few of my favourites stills from this day 🤍

— a few weeks ago over coffee, Ella and I talked about how easy it is to tear up when a couple say their vows; both of us being wedding photographers, we’ve been to a lot.

that comment held true this past weekend when I photographed Ella + Caleb 🥺

there is something so real and so raw when two people stand before the altar and commit their lives to each other. it made me think of a quote i read in a book:

“to be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. but to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. it is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us.”
