A New Chapter ✨

When I first started this journey, I called my business MDS Retouch. At the time, it was just me. I was experimenting, learning, and retouching old images because that’s where it all began. The name “MDS” was simply my initials. It fit who I was then.

But life has a beautiful way of growing us.

Over the years, my passion expanded far beyond retouching. Graphic design and photography both became equal parts of my heart and my creative purpose. And in that same time, my life changed in the most meaningful ways. I got married, and I welcomed two beautiful boys into the world. I learned what true strength, grounding, and inspiration really feel like.

So when I started thinking about the future of my business, I realized I wanted a name that reflected not just the work I create - but the life behind it.

I have decided beginning January 1st, 2026, I will officially be changing my business name and email to
Garnier Creatives.

A name that carries my family.
A name that represents the love, the late nights, the support, and the drive they give me every day.
A name that honours how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown—not just as an artist, but as a person.

This next chapter feels more “me” than ever before, and I can’t wait to continue creating with the same passion… just under a name that truly tells my story.

Sports Portraits continue at the CEC on Monday Dec 8th: 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and again on Tuesday Dec 9th: 5:30pm to 8:30pm
