Hello everyone!

We are calling on our community to help out a little boy and his family who have been through so much over the past couple of years.
Im sure lots of you have seen Desert Hills posting about Mavrik.
Mavrik was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at the age of 2. Throughout the years he has shown us what strong and resilient is even through his rigorous cancer treatment.
Unfortunately we have learned recently that Mavrik's cancer has returned with not many options for further treatment. Our hearts are absolutely broken to hear this news. To help support Mavrik and his family through this extremely difficult time, this week we will be donating and matching ALL sales from our donuts on Thursday & Sunday, as well as pizzas on Friday.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mavrik and his family during this very difficult and heartbreaking time.

We have linked Mavriks go fund me below if you wish and are able to donate.

Two years have passed since these vows were exchanged, but the beauty of this moment remains timeless. As a photographer, there is something special about freezing a moment in time and knowing that the love captured within it continues to grow long after the shutter clicks.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to this beautiful couple. May your journey together be filled with endless laughter, adventure, and love. 🌹✨

Moments after saying ‘I do,’ they stood with the Okanagan valley stretching endlessly behind them. The noise of the day faded into the distance as they looked at one another with hearts full of gratitude and wonder. In that fleeting moment, there were no grand speeches or perfect words. A love so genuine 💕 The beginning of forever, reflected in a single smile, where happy tears met laughter and forever truly began. 🥂

Many people see a burned forest and only see destruction. This photograph captures something more complex—the tension between loss and persistence. The trees are no longer what they once were, yet they remain standing, creating shapes and silhouettes that are almost artistic against the sky. There’s a quiet dignity to them.

The word that comes to mind is liminal—a place caught between what was and what will be. Not quite dead, not yet renewed. Just existing in that haunting space where nature is still telling its story.

Photography often isn’t about finding beauty in perfect things; it’s about recognizing beauty in truth. Wildfires are part of the story of Northern BC, and this image reflects that reality without turning away from it. It invites people to pause and consider what the landscape has endured.

Some souls carry quiet strength so naturally that the world doesn’t always notice the journey it took to get there.
Today, we celebrate not only a graduate, but a young person stepping forward with grace, resilience, and purpose.

Standing between the strength of stone and the movement of water, this moment feels symbolic — grounded in who they are, while flowing confidently toward who they are becoming.

The future is waiting, and it looks bright. ✨
Congratulations, Graduate. May your path ahead be filled with opportunity, growth, adventure, and the courage to remain authentically yourself through it all. 🎓
