What an honor to witness and preserve these once in a lifetime opportunities. I truly love what I do.
The world outside was loud and restless—
howling wind, snow squalls warning,
roads buried in salt and snow, debris skittering across empty intersections.
Detours blocked. Plows passing.
Every mile closer to Stratford felt heavier, quieter, more important.
Inside, time stretched.
Resting. Waiting.
Country music humming low while the night wore on.
Shift changes. Sleepy eyes.
A body working hard while the room held its breath.
Morning crept in slowly.
A wink of sleep.
Stillness before everything changed.
Surrounded by calm hands, steady voices, and a room that filled instantly with meaning.
Grandma in tears.
Dad quiet, present, watching it all unfold.
While the storm raged outside,
a family was born inside.
And nothing about that night will ever be ordinary again. 🤍
