A butterfly to always remember Sweet Vienna Rose. Fly high little one. You will be sorely missed by all of those that had the honour of knowing and loving you.

For those of you that don't know, in the wake of an unimaginable tragedy, our community is left heartbroken and mourning the loss of a precious child. Yesterday, we joined together to remember and honour the life of a young soul taken far too soon. Sweet Vienna Rose Irwin. She touched the hearts of many. Claire is a fellow photographer and friend (Claire Irwin Photography), she and her husband Clayton and their families have suffered a terrible loss. As a community, please continue to stand beside them long after the funeral to offer your heartfelt condolences and unwavering support. They will need a shoulder to cry on for many years to come.

Seven years ago I met this gentleman at the Roseneath Fair. We chatted about his grandson and my son having the same Autoimmune disease, we talked motocross and how it's such a great community and in less than 5 minutes I fell in love with his eyes. They are the most beautiful shade of blue and I know they are full of awesome stories. I just had to take his portrait (and I knew my dad would love his hat)

5 years ago today during a session I could hear lots of giggling. I looked over to see that these three lovely ladies had thrown caution to the wind (and their walkers) and ventured down to the water. On their way back we gave them a little hand and found out that one was 90 years young. Then one of the other ladies said "I'm 95! I don't know what you're complaining about". It was hilarious and so fun to see them interacting like a bunch of school girls. After posting this, through social media I found out that one of the lovely ladies had passed away and I was able to provide their family with a photo. NEVER underestimate the power of a simple photograph, you never know how special it could be

6 years ago at the Port Hope Fair there was a blue grass song being played on stage and these two couldn't remain seated. They were the only ones dancing and it was perfect.I found out later that they had been Married 64 years. He sold his Model T for an engagement ring. Best trade he ever made. I eventually found them through sharing on social media and I was able to gift them a framed copy. They LOVED It
