Wowza. Where do I even start with this one?
Rain, sun, hail. We had it all on this beautiful day. So completely magical.
Sarah & Isaac’s day began with a helicopter ride to their ceremony location: a secluded mountaintop, shared with their closest friends and family. As we stepped off the helicopter, it was lightly sprinkling, and it felt like we’d landed on another planet. Mist curled around the peaks, and for once in the Canadian Rockies, we had the place all to ourselves.
The ceremony was beautiful, followed by a picnic of sandwiches and snacks, portraits and group photos, and slow moments to explore and soak in the mountaintop views. And then, as if the day wasn’t already perfect, a herd of mountain bighorn sheep appeared, making the day even more special.
Part two? Just as magical. A candlelit dinner in a grand mansion’s library, with toasts from their favourite people. More on this later because wow I can’t fit much more into this post.
Such an amazing day to be a part of. How lucky am I to be invited into such intimate celebrations.
