To my clients, family and friends,

I wanted to take a moment to share some news and express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible journey we have embarked on together.

As a photographer, I have been truly blessed to capture precious moments of joy, laughter, and love in your lives. Every photo was a testament to the beautiful connections and memories that make each family and person unique. It has been an honor to be part of your stories.

However, after careful consideration and deep reflection, I have made the decision to take a break from professional photography for a while. I’m eager to devote more time and energy to my own family, achieving a sense of balance.

The last few years, life has presented me with unexpected challenges. I underwent a double mastectomy and oophorectomy, a journey that brought about significant emotional and physical shifts. It was a decision I made for my health, and while it was a necessary step, it wasn't without its difficulties.

As I continue healing, my priorities have become clear and taking this time away will allow me space to nurture my physical and emotional needs and I believe is necessary to ensure the well-being of myself and those closest to me.

While I’ll be stepping away from photography for now, please know that my creative spirit remains alive and well. I’ll exploring different avenues to express my artistic vision, seeking new ways to bring beauty and inspiration into the world.

I am genuinely excited about the new possibilities that this space will bring. I invite you to stay connected with me through my various creative outlets. I still may share photos or content, engaging in collaborative projects with fellow artists, and embracing the freedom to create without constraints.

Once again, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives, to capture those cherished memories, and to witness the love that binds families together. I am forever grateful for the trust you have placed in me and the incredible moments we have shared.

Wishing you all a future filled with love, happiness, and countless beautiful memories.

And just like that, it’s been a month since I last posted… 😁🤷🏼‍♀️
I have so many albums and photos I could post, but lately I feel like as long as the wonderful people I shoot for are enjoying them, I’m happy. 😊🤍

Not to say I don’t like sharing with all of you! But I’m just not cool with amount energy I have to pour into social media.
So I’ll be coming in waves, maybe slow and steady… maybe in sets. But you’ll see me when you see me, lol ✌️

With spring approaching, we can start booking outdoor sessions again! But with unpredictable, southern Alberta weather, you never know when we’ll get hit with a blizzard.
No need to worry! If inclement weather hits, we can always move indoors for a cozy, lifestyle session in my bright, fully styled and curated studio!

Quick tutorial! I learned this from my girl Haley , from These waves are great for day or night, I always wear my hair like this, it’s natural looking and easy to do! I posted some tips below!

- always use heat protector! (IGK good behavior is what I use)
- leave the ends out or straighten them a touch, that way it doesn’t look too perfect
- alternate the direction you curl from more dimension
-change up the thickness of each piece to give a more natural look
-only hold the curl for a couple of seconds, that way the curls relax into waves …
-let the curls cool, then brush your fingers through
