so, last year I went on a solo trip to the Galápagos 😌 and I met the sweetest little baby sea lion there ever was. I have so many incredible memories and photos from this trip that I can’t wait to share! when I got my zoom lens in January of last year, I dreamt of taking photos like this 🥹 truly a bucket list trip filled with wildlife photography and experiences I will never ever forget! 📸 🦭

whaaaat a treat to get to see a juvenile bald eagle, and so close too 😍😍 and to get it in flight!! wheeeoooo this was such a cool day. it was one of the uncharacteristically warm days in February and it was so sunny and beautiful all day, and willow and I spent the entire day at Holiday Beach (my first time there — what a gorgeous place!)

in the last two photos, if you zoom in, you can see it has its eyes closed — kinda spooky looking 😂

Lone blue jay ☺️

In my experience so far blue jays have been one of the hardest to photograph — they move around a lot and they tend to fly and land higher than other birds.

I love how peaceful and regal this lil buddy looks, surrounded by the cascading winter leaves 🥰

this was my first time photographing an eclipse and I’m really proud of how it turned out!
