We don’t have to agree on everything to choose kindness.

Raising a flag and recognizing June as Pride Month doesn’t take anything away from anyone else’s beliefs, traditions, or rights. It simply recognizes that some of our friends, family members, neighbours, coworkers, and clients have not always felt safe, seen, or accepted.

Everyone is welcome at my studio. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and valued for exactly who they are.

Kindness costs nothing, and there is room for all of us here.

A flag won’t solve every problem, but small gestures of inclusion can make a real difference to someone who has spent their life wondering if they belong.
