Excited to be asked again for the TMC Christmas show in Koerner Hall. What a spectacle.

Under the passionate guidance of legendary Conductor Karin Burke (aka Gospel prof) this Gospel choir blows the roof off.

Just 1 stage, but filled with Juno award-winning Canadian Jazz artist Laila Biali, The Mike Janzen Trio, Gospel vocalist Latoya HD and the Toronto Beaches Children’s & Youth Chorus

Fully packed program so I could not miss a beat. Thanks to Ilian Halbertsma for assisting!

I have been doing stills for Mountain Goat Film Company They are making a TVfilm here in Collingwood. Lot's of fun watching it and also much admiration for the tight and smooth production they run: bravo! Here are some of the images.

I am proud about this photo that I made last summer at the Collingwood festival: it shows exactly the intensity of the music of Dévah Quartet at that moment. If you are ever able to see them, go! Musician is Sharon Lee.

I was asked to come and document the St.Maarten Marathon, 21k, 10k and 5 k races.

I said yes. Saint Martin anytime!

Here are the images. Lots of fun. Also way more challenging due to the fact it was at night (4 am)

Eventhough I did not use ordinary blinding “flash” I still had the problem of low light to be solved.

In the end we used high quality roadbike lights and used the headlight/ beams of the car to get some mood shots and action shots.

Every pro knows: nightshots with fast shutter speed and high ISO can become a disaster.

But the client was very happy. Me too.
