My 2025 recap isn’t what I expected. I got married, bought a new Jeep, finished another term of school, but I also lost my best friend on Christmas Day.

There is something incredibly special about the dog that gets you through your 20’s. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today if it wasn’t for my furry soulmate, Lincoln. I was never alone because I had him, he gave me strength and motivation and pushed me to grow and do better. From 21 to 32, he was the greatest gift. ❤️‍🩹

Like the moon, the sun goes through cycles. These solar cycles last ~11 years. As the solar cycle enters its maximum, the sun’s magnetic field flips. These cycles have been long observed by terrestrial phenomena such as the Aurora! This weekend’s magical performance of excited atmospheric molecules, was the sun’s way of signalling a new beginning.

The Baltic homestead.. 200 year legacy which the land has reclaimed.

It’s incredible how nature can erase 200 years of history in just a two decades. What you can’t see here is a big beautiful home - built by my ancestors in 1770 - a home my family maintained for generations to come. Burnt down in an electrical fire, and overgrown by the native PEI shrubs and grasses. Land reclaimed by nature.

Brayden and I booked our first camping spot of the year at one of our favourite mid island campgrounds. Pretty excited to get back into the rhythm and go through all of our camping bins to make sure everything is clean and ready.

Does anyone else ever find surprise science experiments from the previous season? Lol 🤷🏼‍♀️
