I took 208 photos of the Western Sandpipers today but this one is my favourite. Every time I go to the beach, it’s either on a field trip or with family, leaving no chance for me to observe and photograph them. I always think to myself I need to come back here alone, on a quiet day. But a group of 4 of them made an appearance today! They are lovely tiny shorebirds. You will miss them if you’re not looking. 🧡
