C+T’s golden hour engagement photos in Pincher Creek ♥ Such a lovely evening hanging out with these two and capturing some fun photos before the big day. An engagement session is always a beautiful and no-pressure way to just ease up some of those nerves about being in front of the camera. This was the very first part of R+J’s elopement where they officially tied the knot ♥ They had a beautiful elopement ceremony led by and then we captured some fun portraits around the studio space as well. If you saw my earlier posts of R+J then you know that afterwards we hit up some other cool locations in downtown Calgary for their wedding photos, followed by more wedding portraits in Banff a few days later. It was so much fun capturing this very special moment for these two in so many beautiful locations!

My goodness the way this evening worked out so beautifully for these two and their engagement photos in Kananaskis. A few minutes before we met up there was literally a full out snowstorm, but the skies magically parted the second we stepped foot onto the field to begin our shoot. What a beautiful moment. And the sun then stayed for the whole shoot too! The clouds slowly rolled away to reveal the gorgeous layers of mountains on the horizon. So grateful everything fell into place for the most incredible evening capturing these two and their love for each other ♥ Cannot wait for their big day this September!

R+J’s downtown Calgary wedding photos ♡ After their intimate elopement ceremony we hit up a bunch of the best spots around downtown Calgary for R+J’s portraits. There was a big spring snowstorm that morning but thankfully the weather cleared justtt in time for these two to officially tie the knot and then capture some photos around the city to celebrate. We did a little loop around downtown before heading back to the where these two were staying. If you saw my last post, then you know a few days later we met up again in Banff for some fun mountain wedding portraits in addition to their city ones, making for such a beautiful variety of settings for their photos.

R+J’s beautiful wedding photos at the Fairmont Banff Springs ♡ A few days after their elopement in downtown Calgary we met up again in Banff for some more wedding portraits. We kicked off the morning with a visit to Lake Minnewanka at sunrise before heading into town for some portraits at the We had the halls all to ourselves, and the gorgeous sunlight streaming through the castle windows was absolutely magical. These two lucked out with the most perfect morning for their wedding photos ✨

This was an incredible week last season capturing B+B’s Mexico destination wedding alongside ♥ We had so much fun hanging out with this crew, what an awesome group. B+B’s wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything a couple could dream of for their destination wedding. I also loved getting to capture some sunrise portraits of these two a few days after their wedding day. We lucked out with the most gorgeous sunrise for their photos, and it was such a beautiful cherry on top to an already stunning week.

What a beautiful weekend capturing A+B’s wedding photos on Vancouver Island. Spring was in full bloom at last! And my goodness the way the greens and colours shine through photos so beautifully on Vancouver Island. I’ve missed capturing weddings in the warmer half of the year, and this month has already been an amazing kick off to wedding season ♡

It was so awesome catching up with this beautiful bunch while visiting Hawaii over the winter. It had been a little over a year since I last saw mum & dad while shooting in Toronto. We had to snap some cute photos of them all exploring around this gorgeous beach! How cute are the kiddos looking for shells. The rain held off perfectly for our little adventure too. and I had such a fun time visiting this spot with these four and hanging out all together!
