katy & spencer had the sweetest day yesterday. surrounded by their families, they committed their love to one another. the sun shone softly down, filtering through the trees, while the river wove its way through, providing the perfect soundtrack to their day. forever grateful for the chance to capture moments like this.

the river was a glorious place for a dip after the photos, which I did exactly that 🤍🤘🏻💃🏻 THE BEST.

I photographed Nickol and Ricardo’s maternity session in the summer and got to photographed Julian earth side - it was beautiful and I absolutely adore in-home sessions.

jerica looking stunning on the day she got married to the love of her life ✨ I had the honour of photographing jerica + jake’s wedding. they’ve treated me like family and we spent the whole day laughing (with a little bit of tears from me from behind the camera like usual ✌🏻)

when I first started seriously photographing, I would never book family sessions - I didn’t mesh well with kids, and never felt the connection to it. then, my two little nieces came along, I starting working in an elementary school/kids ministry and all at once - it came together. I absolutely love photographing families now. getting to know the personalities of the kids, making the session fun for them, and snapshotting a moment in time for them as a family. dreaaaam job right here 🙌🏻🤍

Katie and I became fast friends through our church. she’d show up to everything with a hot tea, and a gentle but strong spirit. So naturally, when I heard about Brandon, I was PUMPED!

During the session, I had to pull her aside and with my heart very full and my eyes welling up just a bit, whispered excitedly “he’s perfect for you!!” I love seeing people come alive when they find their person, and seeing Katie & Brandon together was just that. Cannot wait for their wedding next year 🙌🏻

i’ve taken an unintentional Instagram break, mainly because I am in an editing cave! I am finishing up quite possibly my busiest season EVER! 22 sessions alone in October. wow. thank you all so much. I can’t really put it into words, but I’d give you all a big squeeze if I could.
I don’t take lightly that each session I photograph has its own little story, people who trust me to capture it, and that I get to be a part of it. this sweet little family being one of them ✨

we ran around this little cove climbing over logs, huddling up in the cold wind & crossing little streams (my feet definitely got soaked!!), as the sun poured over the mountains & the wafting of campfire filled the air. It was a true west coast engagement session and it got me alllll kinds of giddy for Katie + Brandon's wedding next year.
