I went for a fun hike with Stephanie Moore and made new friends with Perth Critchley and Tony Critchley

Popped the drone up after I was off strobe-holding duty and caught a bunch of cool frames of these two.
It's pretty neat how life just kinda connects you with new people that you, well, connect with.

Great hike with cool people, incredible scenery, and some gorgeous photos.
You should see what Stephanie Moore shot... stunning.

Happy New Years, friends! One last 20 minute portrait to close out the year... and yes, it's a non-alcoholic beverage in the glass.

Tarah is the legendary music bingo host (among many other things at ) and every couple weeks she puts together a stellar outfit for the theme of the night, and I like to play a fun game of "what shoot concept can I come up with and set up for in about 20 minutes?"
Because that's about how much time I have from when she shows up and I get to see her outfit, to when music bingo starts in the tap house below my studio space.

I made the background out of a roll of bubble wrap and some clear packing tape, suspended from a pair of c-stands.

A pair of AD200's with yellow & blue gels provide the bottom light, and an AD600 with a pink gel from overhead and behind to light the top.
Key light is an AD600 in a 4' octa, boomed overhead.

Quick little bit of styling in Photoshop, and bingo bango.

Fun.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!
May your 2026 be absolutely incredible and filled with health, wealth & happiness.

$3107 raised in 6 hours, and 100% of it is going to the Cranbrook Food Bank.

This is our third year running our "photos with Krampus" fundraiser, and each year our community helps us surpass the last.
Thanks to the generosity of those who came to support the event, we beat last year's total donations by a whopping 20%!!

I wish we lived in a world where food insecurity didn't exist, but at least we have organizations like the Cranbrook Food Bank to help fill those gaps, and the support of our community to help keep them in operation.
A significant portion of their operating budget is from donations like these, along with the endless number of labour hours selflessly given by those who volunteer their time.

If you ever feel the urge to do some good for your community, donating money or time to your local food bank has an incredible positive impact to the lives of those around you.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Thank you to the for hosting the Nightmare Before Christmas Market where we set up our photo station, for organizing the event, and for their incredible service to our community.

Happy Holidays!!

Made a fun little video of my recent bike build at

Big thanks to for doing the assembly work so I could run the camera.

This build is a Farley 5, and we swapped in a SLX/XT 12spd setup, some Turbine bars & pedals, dropper remote & grips, and used liners & big bore valves for the tubeless conversion.
Red reflective tape installed under the stock rim strip before the tubeless setup for a little extra night time visibility.
