I’m not going to lie, I got pretty choked up during this little moment.

It was Vanessa’s first time seeing her grandpa, Ed, in a little over a year. Although BC just went into another 3 week lockdown of sorts, the care home where Ed lives was finally able to open it’s doors to family visits by appointment.

Although Ed has been vaccinated (as well as all staff), all other COVID precautions were put in place for the safety of the residents.

Ed will be the only family member or friend that we come in contact with during these 3 weeks.

Pretty stoked on how this turned out. It was sort of rushed because there’s a freeway right behind the house and it was about 5:30PM on a Friday. There was a semi and a couple cars behind the house when I hit the shutter.
