One of the greatest gifts of this job is the people I get to meet along the way. These two were such a reminder of why I love what I do. Their energy was radiant, loving, beautiful, and so much fun. From the moment we started, the session was filled with laughter, inside jokes, and the kind of joy that’s impossible not to feel when you’re around them.

What stood out the most was the way their love shined so effortlessly. Every glance, every giggle, every little moment between them spoke volumes. It wasn’t just about capturing photos, it was about telling their story, the warmth they share, the happiness they bring each other, and the light they radiate together.

It was truly such a joy and an honor to be the one to freeze these moments in time.

Prom night is all about the details, the sharp suits, the flowing dresses, the little moments you don’t want to forget.

For me, it’s about capturing it all, the big smiles, the real laughs, the way it all comes together.

Because Prom night might go by fast, but the photos, they’ll last a lifetime.

There’s something special about capturing a group of friends on their big night. The excitement, the nerves, the banter, the anticipation, all wrapped up in an evening they’ll never forget.

But it’s more than just the suits and the smiles. It’s the special moments with family, the shared laughs with friends, and the feeling of standing beside someone special, knowing they’re part of this memory too.

Hey! It’s been a while, so I figured it’s time to re-introduce myself 😊

I’m Emma Nichol, a lifestyle, branding, and family photographer based in beautiful Collingwood, Ontario. I capture real, meaningful moments and alter life by holding those moments still.

My love for photography started young. My mom used to take endless photos of my sister and I, so I grew up in front of the camera and honestly, I loved it. As I got older, I realized how truly magical a photograph is.

A single image can transport you back to a moment, a feeling, a smell, a season of life. That’s the gift I aim to give every person who steps in front of my lens. Time traveling back to those moments.

When I am not shooting you can find me editing away, at the gym at , taking self care trips to .ca, and shopping online for clothes I will “girl math” myself into buying.

I feel so lucky to capture such incredible humans and their stories. If we’ve worked together, thank you for trusting me. And if we haven’t yet, I’d be honoured to help you freeze some of life’s most meaningful moments.

My micro mini sessions are now available!

These micro mini sessions will be at the Summer Festival event put on by Purple Hill Lavender Farm in Creemore, Ontario on June 28th and 29th, 2025. I will be on-site as a vendor and offering micro mini sessions. These micro mini sessions are a 10min photoshoot session for $80 in the beautiful lavender fields.

After months (or even years) of playing around and tweaking every little detail, I’m beyond excited to announce that my website is officially LIVE!

It’s been a journey full of late-night brainstorming sessions, countless redos, and more “my website is coming soon” conversations than I care to admit. But here we are... finally! After all the hard work, I’m thrilled to say the wait is over.

When the hardest part of a shoot becomes deciding which of the photos to post because you love them all.

A snow covered landscape providing a dreamy, almost ethereal backdrop, while the soft, muted light of winter adds a timeless, romantic feel.

This setting, capturing these moments for T & R felt very much like we were in the middle of producing their very own rom-com.

My Micro Mini Photo Sessions will be 10 min photoshoot session for $75. My space will be set up indoors.
