I was looking for a way to display my little flashs. I’ve decide to do 3D printing of plastic hotshoes, cut a 3/4” plywood in round, an old record on the face. Show me how you display yours, other than on top of the camera.

Warning cameras collectors: cameras are like a virus, very hard to get rid off. I lost my basement, my storage, my cabinets... Now cameras take over everything. When you start collecting, you can’t stop. I am running out of space. But I still want more. Can’t find the right vaccines, my wife is trying hard to stop it.

I’ve start collecting cameras when I was about 15. A little hobby. In 1988 my collection was about 30 cameras. Now it’s over 2000. I’ve never thought it would be that agressive.

Collectionneurs de caméras ATTENTION: les caméras sont comme des virus, très difficiles à éliminer. J'ai perdu mon sous-sol, mon rangement, mes armoires ... Maintenant les caméras prennent le dessus. Lorsque vous commencez à collectionner, vous ne pouvez plus vous arrêter. Je manque d'espace. Mais j'en veux encore plus. Je ne trouve pas les bons vaccins, ma femme s’efforce de les arrêter.

J'ai commencé à collectionner des appareils photos vers l'âge de 15 ans. Un petit hobby. En 1988, ma collection comptait environ 30 caméras. Maintenant, c'est plus de 2000. Je n'ai jamais pensé qu’elle serait aussi agressives. 🙂

Expensive digital camera when they came out.
The DCS760 was approx. $8000USD, in 2003, 6 megapixels, and mix of Nikon and Kodak.

The kodak DCS520 came on the market in 1998, with a suggest retail price of $16 550 USD. 2 megapixels.

The Kodak EOS-DCS 3c came out on the market in 1995, suggest retail price of $23 300USD.

I might be wrong with the price, because I did not bought the 2 last one new.
I am not sure yet if the canon are working. I will try to find battery and charger for them.

Images made on metal plate. The beginning of this type of photography was in 1856. At that time, it was a very inexpensive way to create an image.
