Hands down the favorite pose/position to try during the photo day this year was the tea cup.

Each skater brought a slightly different variation of it, and it was such an exciting element for each skater when they came in ready to show what they could do!

They all agreed, nailing the balance off ice was way harder than on ice when they have momentum!

Today's feeling like a great day to book your 2026 grad session, doesn't it?!

Grad sessions do not need to be booked on grad ceremony day, in fact, I always advocate for scheduling it on a different day.

Grad day is so busy, with getting everyone ready, to any hair/makeup appointments, making sure everyone is dressed and ready and where they need to be at a specific time.

Scheduling your grad session for a day when you have hair/makeup trials, if you're doing that is a fantastic option.

But what about scheduling it after all the grad festivities happen? I've found graduates are more relaxed, and then we can often pick locations that if the outfit might get a little dirt on it, no one is too worried about it, as the ceremony is already done.

Which time frame you pick totally depends on what's best for you and your family, and I'm always open to talking about what time frame for your session works best for you.

Summer sunsets and a gorgeous silhouette to warm up on a not as cold, but still cold, Monday morning.

It's been a slower start to my Monday today, after the weekend brought some unexpected challenges that needed my full attention. Emails are all replied to, now!
