Hey guys!! What a busy week it’s been. Between Mother’s Day sessions, school days, rugby games, flag football games, and showing up because your students ask you to be there… it’s been nonstop in the best way.

Our food grow program in the high school is growing so naturally now. Students are jumping in, making assembly lines, transplanting seeds, caring for baby plants, and starting the cycle over again together. Watching it all come together has honestly been amazing.

We are so happy to say our first annual plant sale was a huge success. We reached our $250 goal within the first hour and completely sold out an hour and a half before the sale ended. In total we raised $426.10 for our high school learning centre. We also came in under budget, which means we can now support a FIFTH school community garden to help fill the gap of food insecurity around Cole Harbour.

There is always something to do and always a way to help. $10 from every session booked goes back into supporting programs like these within our community, along with helping support the Cole Harbour Community Fridge.
