I made a goal this year.. to push my creativity. To think creatively on the fly, to look at the mundane places and use my surroundings (whatever they may be) to photograph in.
I think being a photographer means so much more than just shooting posed photos in a pretty place.
I think it means being able to immerse yourself in any place or time. Being able to find a way to frame your subject to create something artistically pleasing to the eye.
But also… like follow the sun around ;)

Girl packs suitcase of potential outfits and accessories.
Panic..because why do I throw myself into sink or swim situations.
Spend the half hour BEFORE said session.. scouting locations that have me feeling inspired.

and in an hour my creative brain dreams are fulfilled.
And thats how I keep my brain from being bored. For now ;)
