Mama Osprey and baby - Friday 10 July 2026 - what beautiful baby Osprey!! And what a great day birding! I left home feeling very despondent - so little support for my documentary that I’m back at work this weekend 😞 - but then the birds came out in force to show me what’s really important! 😄 So many baby Osprey with their adults, bald eagles, ravens and raven babies! Western tanagers! Evening grosbeak! Kingbirds! Grey catbirds! Oh my goodness! All the things! What a wonderful day!

Roberts Bank in Delta BC 🇨🇦 site of RBCT2 and today it’s announced the termination point for the Trans Mountain oil pipeline.

Having to choose what footage I include in my new documentary is proving very difficult - I’m trying my hardest to keep my documentary as short as possible - my film “End of an Era - 13 years of wildlife at Roberts Bank” to be released later this year - as construction of the new terminal RBCT2 starts in 2027 - I know my patrons and real naturalists, birders and conservationists will watch and appreciate the time and effort this historical record will showcase about this area - please watch and support my work - this footage was filmed 3 December 2018. Roberts Bank is an important bird and biodiversity area and a world recognized Ramsar wetlands site.
