We are excited to announce that Mark Hemmings will be hosting a Photography Workshop with us on June 6th from 2:00–4:00 PM at the Dorchester Veteran's Community Center! Mark will be teaching photography techniques that you can easily use with your cell phone camera as well.

Then, put your new skills into practice by joining our Trails Committee on June 7th at 10:00 AM for a trail walk/run and enter our Photo Contest! 🌿🏃📷

I was invited to show my film ‘Fastest Known Time on the Fundy Footpath’ last night in Dorchester, New Brunswick, and it was a fantastic time. It was a fundraiser for the hiking and running trails that they have here, some of them that wind along the historic Memramcook River protective d***s from the 1700’s and old wharfs. The Greater Dorchester Moving Forward Collective was able to raise some much needed funds last night which I was happy to help with. After I showed the film I did a slide show on the famous Japanese pilgrimage trail Kumano Kodo, which happens to be the sister pilgrimage route to the Camino in Europe. After a nice sleep at their Station 8 bed and breakfast I went out for a short run along part of their Chocolate River hiking trail. Thanks Melissa, Stephane, and everyone else involved for the fun time!

My trail running documentary "Fastest Known Time on the Fundy Footpath" will be shown Thursday evening at Lady Smith Manor, 22 Woodlawn Road, Dorchester New Brunswick. If you are in the area please come out for the viewing of this extended version of the film. All the info is on the poster image within this post. After the film there will be a Q&A, and for those who want to stay, an adventure slideshow of my running photography from different trails and roads around the world.
