Sweet Lyla joined me in the studio to celebrate her first birthday with the most adorable ballerina-inspired cake smash session. She was as sweet as could be and brought so many smiles throughout her session!

Her mama is not only one of the talented dance teachers at Dutton Dance Academy, but also a fellow Swiftie, making this sweet and simple concept even more special. From the soft pink details to Lyla’s precious expressions, this session was an absolute joy to capture.

Throwing it back to my very first cake smash session in 2022 with my daughter as my very first model. 💕

Since then, my photography style has evolved significantly, transitioning from bright and expressive setups to the minimalist, timeless aesthetic I love today. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how much I’ve learned and grown over the years.

Cake smash sessions continue to be one of my absolute favourites to create, and I’m so grateful for every family that trusts me to capture these special milestones. ✨
