I'm a fulltime creative photographer from Edmonton with a passion for capturing the intricate colors and textures in nature. I strive to create beautiful artwork with interior design trends in mind to generate energy in your space. Nature photography is my way of communicating the most extraordinary feelings I've ever experienced as an adventurer and photographer. The goal of my art is to bring th

ose feelings to your home and inspire a desire to explore the world and it's natural beauty. I frame all of my artwork myself from raw materials using woodworking and finishing techniques that I have been refining for years. I've developed a custom style of art frame that incorporates a UV99 anti-reflective glass floating style, archival 100% cotton rag paper prints, and various types of solid hardwood including american walnut, cherry, maple, and peruvian walnut. To me, the frames that present my work are just as much of an artform as the prints themselves, and I take a great amount of pride in the design and construction of these frames. Proceeds from my artwork go towards funding international service projects where I'm able to apply my skills as an engineer to help others. Most recently, I traveled to the municipality of Churicala in Bolivia to assist a team of industry professionals in the construction of a 81m suspended bridge. This bridge now provides access to schools and health care facilities for more than 400 members of the community. To me, it's a beautiful coincidence that trips like these allow me to find my purpose not only as a photographer capturing incredible moments of landscape and culture, but also as an engineer working on projects that matter.

A few months ago I took a trip to Vancouver Island to do some shooting on medium format film. This was my first time ever shooting film!

While it's becoming less practical nowadays, I've always loved the philosophy behind a sort of forced intentionality in finding the moments that matter as opposed to shooting everything and digging through the pile afterwards.

The grandeur perspective of medium format coupled with the organic colours and tones of film are a pleasure to experience first hand. Many times with digital you're required to revisit your raw images with an artistic perspective to bring them to reality, whereas film is one step ahead and just captures things how you see them in an instant.

Best of all, with the right equipment these negatives can be used to fill entire walls with the beauty of nature.

Two of my favourite custom art pieces from last year commissioned on request by .rob in bleached white oak. These are some of my favourite shots ever from the Rockies, the light was hitting perfectly and it really shows in the details at these large sizes.

I'm beyond stoked to make more pieces come to life in white oak this year, including several originals that have been begging for light frames in a world of dark, rich walnut.

Thanks Tegan for the pictures and for being amazing to work with throughout this process! We had a lot of fun iterating on the image selection and palette, without a doubt this was one of my favorite projects to date. Nothing beats the reward of seeing them fit perfectly into their new home.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the this weekend! It was an amazing show and I got to share my artwork with so many incredible people. Over the last 12 months I have done upwards of 30 art shows and there's no better way to wrap up the year than with a show like this!

I have some amazing projects planned for '26, so stay tuned for new releases and offerings. I'm so hyped to come back and do this show again next year :)
