I know I say it a lot, but I love reconnecting with old friends. Mikaela and I have known each other since grade 7. I’m so glad we got to get together for these photos! I also wanted to take this time to remind everyone that if you don’t want me to post your child’s face, I’m more than happy to respect that boundary! As much as I love to share your beautiful families, I would never want to overstep your choices. To say the last two months have been dark for me would be an understatement. But then working with this sweet little family brought so much light back into my heart ❤️ This job is hard guys. Really hard. And I just want to give you another friendly reminder that photographers are people too. When you give us a follow, it means so much more than you will know! But just know, if you don’t like what you see photographers posting, you can unfollow. There will be no hard feelings! You know what will cause hard feelings? When people reach out and tell us what we’re doing wrong. We don’t need unsolicited advise on how we decide to run our businesses. We are all doing our best and trying to also show our authentic selves. The amount of fellow photog friends I’ve spoken within the last few weeks are all on the same page as me; burnt out and trying our absolute best to keep going. So please remember to be kind ❤️

The amount of love I have for the family is nearly impossible to describe. I started photographing them earlier this year and they have kept coming back with love, patience, support and kindness. They have quickly become close friends and I thank God every day for them 🤍
