Every session,
every moment,
the light changes.
with the hour,
the season,
the setting,
and the weather;
it never seems to show up the same way twice.
And maybe that’s the point.
For all the planning & preparation, light is entirely outside of my control, outside of anyone’s control. And as unnerving as that sounds, this very fact has been something I’ve honestly been coming to truly love and embrace!
The way that light shows up and is reflected in each session & setting has felt like God’s artistic touch on each story I get to capture, shaping each one into something unique, intentional, and beautiful. It’s like it’s His way of adding His own personal touch:)
