I was blessed to spend my first day in Costa Rica surrounded by these beautiful animals at the Four the Love of Paws animal rescue (Coco Care). I bottle fed the wee puppies and took photos of the animals and the grounds to provide a gallery of images they may use on social media, etc. to help promote their cause.
When a person takes on this kind of mission is no small feat. It spans far beyond blood, sweat and tears. I have tremendous respect for people like Sandra and Garth who have made it their lifeโs mission to save unwanted animals, provide food, shelter and medication and educate people on the homeless dog and cat population in Costa Rica. They rely on their fundraising efforts and the generous donations of people around the community and beyond so they can continue providing this much needed service. They truly are angels on earth. ๐
