February 28 brought the decisive round of lead climbing at the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup in Edmonton as the finalists returned to the wall for the final route of the competition.
Following the semifinals earlier that day, the remaining climbers faced the last sequence of moves with the podium on the line, where precision, strength, and composure determined how far each athlete could advance.

On February 7, the University of Alberta honoured five senior Pandas who have given everything to this program, stepping onto the floor one last time in front of the home crowd that has watched them grow from rookies into leaders. The intensity was real, the emotion unmistakable, and the legacy they leave behind is stitched into every possession, every huddle, every standard raised over years of play.
