🔨 What inspired you to get into construction/your trade?
I’ve always been drawn to hands-on work and building things from the ground up. I grew up on an active equine and dairy farm, loving animals, the outdoors, and working hard, so trades and farming just felt natural. I love being able to create something real — whether that’s training or helping animals, fixing equipment, or building a space where people can learn and grow.
💛 What’s one thing you love about your job?
I love the freedom and purpose it gives me. Every day is different, and I get to work with animals, teach humans, grow with kids and create opportunities for people to feel confident and connected. There’s something really fulfilling about seeing the direct result of your hard work and I LOVE IT!
⚡ What’s a common misconception about tradeswomen that you wish people understood?
That strength and femininity can’t coexist. Women in trades or agriculture are often underestimated.. Being capable, tough, and knowledgeable doesn’t take away from being soft, creative, or feminine. We can be both and we are both.
📸 How did it feel to step into a bold, fun side of yourself for the shoot?
Honestly, it felt empowering. As women and mom in physically demanding jobs, we’re often in work mode — dirty boots, long days, always pushing forward. It felt good to pause and embrace that fire side of myself that’s playful, confident, and expressive.
🌸 How do you balance the strength of your trade with embracing your femininity?
To me, they go hand in hand. My strength comes from knowing who I am and what I’m capable of. I can work hard, handle tough situations, and still love feeling beautiful, creative, and feminine. One doesn’t cancel out the other.
🔥 What makes you feel the most powerful—on and off the job?
On the job, it’s overcoming challenges and proving to myself that I can figure things out. Off the job, it’s building the life I’ve always wanted — creating something meaningful for my family, my animals, and my community. I feel magic, and that makes me feel powerful.
🛠️ What advice would you give to women entering male-dominated industries?
Don’t shrink yourself to make other people comfortable. You don’t need to prove you belong — you already do. Learn everything you can. Take what resonates, leave what does not. Trust yourself, and remember that confidence comes from doing, not waiting until you feel ready.
🎶 What’s your go-to hype song or confidence boost?
My hype song is Remember The Name by Fort Minor.
My confidence boost is reminding myself how far I’ve already come. When life gets hard, I think about everything I’ve built through grit and determination, that’s what fires me up!
💌 If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Trust your gut sooner. Stop doubting yourself and worrying about what people think. The things that make you different are going to be the same things that make you successful. Everything is perception.
✨ What’s one fun fact about you that people might not expect?
A lot of people might not expect that behind all the farm work and tough days, I’m also deeply creative — I love Art & creating projects, painting, drawing, crafting anddddd I’m Clairaudient.
