With the dinner in a hurry is only a few minutes away!

On the way home from a weekend away on Sunday, I REALLY thought about just goin out for dinner. But after 5 hours on the golf course, that wasn't in the cards!

But some ready made Beef and Pork Bolognese from sure was! Tossed it in a pot to heat up while I cooked some fusili and mixed a little ricotta with lemon, EVOO, salt, pepper and a lil parsley and dinner was on the table in less than 20 minutes!

Although I'm usually using to get ingredients to make my OWN red sauce, when you're in a pinch their ready made stuff is a god send!

I mean, how can you not love the branding from ?!!

Sorellina has been roasting coffee in Edmonton for some time now so I’m not sure how it’s taken me this long to finally try their stuff!

Looking through their online shop, ’s collection highlights just the kinda wild experimental coffees I love! And this one is no different. A blend of Thermal Shock processed Bourbon from .benitez92 and and a Yeast Inoculated Java is sure to be a feast for all the senses!

They’re also set to open up their brew bar on Whyte Ave in the previous location.

The name, Sorellina, Italian for “little sister”, fits perfectly as head of the biz, Lynsey, got her start under her brother Andrew at , and is now on to doin her own super rad thing!

I know I’m excited not only to try out these beans but to also hit up their shop as soon as it opens!

When you’re talking about these 16oz Slubby 888s, that is exactly what comes to mind.

Right off the rack, these jeans are bursting with character, so I can’t wait to see where they’re gonna be this time next year.

As always, big ups to TJ from for hookin me up with these and doin an on the spot hem when I was last in Van.

These Crimson CXL Diesel Boots are, to me, a great pairing with these jeans. Still working some things out to get em as comfy as I can but I’m hopin 9EEE is the way forward.

That flank steak is so so so tender and the slightly spicy, shrimpy, peanut buttery flavour of that satay sauce is something I could have AGAIN AND AGAIN!

At this point, I’d be lyin if I said HK Cafe style food wasn’t one of my favourites to both make and eat!

I think I (and you too, obviously) NEED to hit up the taproom WAY more often.

With their not so recent expansion and renovations, the new space is so nice! 24 taps of Blindman (and others) goodness, a dope patio and some lawn games (I kinda wish I could get in on that co****le league) make the spot a pretty awesome one to hang at.

Oh, and the bottle selection they have on site is full of some next level stuff. Given our love for all things saison and mixed fermentation, all four of these beers are guaranteed to hit the spot!

Blindman has one of the best core lineups of beers in the province, but it’s ones like these where they truly show off their skill and creativity.

We’ve already dug into the Queen Nectarine, a nectarine saison, and had the Midsummer Mixed Blend, a blend of their Belgian Dark Strong and a mixed ferment saison, on site. So I can’t wait to dig into the other two!

Still surprised at just how comfy this Kurt Worker Tee from is. It's thick, it's soft and the sleeves are cut just right.

I'm also ALWAYS grateful for scoping out the discounted pieces every time we hit up . She always seems to find some gems. And this tee is just another example. Too bad it looks like it's nowhere to bee foind on Nudie's site anymore. I could see myself in this shirt pretty damn often.

👕 You're Not Gonna Wanna Take This Shirt Off!👕
A few months ago when I saw the release of the natural indigo crumple dyed crew neck sweater from I was super intrigued.

But with summer around the corner at the time and a drawer full of sweaters I held off.

But when I saw the release of the crumple dyed tee, I was IMMEDIATELY on it! And, boy am I glad I picked it up.

The pattern from the due process makes this shirt unique but it's subtle enough to go with a ton of outfits. And the 225gsm fabric has some solid heft to it too.

Huge ups to for getting me one of the best of the batch of this tee!

Can't wait to see how it wears in!

The Breakfast Bagel (everything bagel, bacon, poached egg, sun-dried tomato cream cheese, arugula and Valentina mayo) ALWAYS HITS!

It, honestly, is not an overstatement that my favourite meal I had on my last trip to Vancouver mighta been from .coffee and !

Besides being monstrous, 's Eggs Benny wase huge on flavour too! Just look at that THICC hollandaise sauce! Some thick cut bacon and a super flaky biscuit underneath made this plate not only a sight to behold but also a plate to be hella savoured!

My breakfast plate with the same thick cut bacon, sauteed mushrooms, local breakfast sausage and sourdough and, seriously, some of the most deliciously crisp fried potatoes, got devoured faster than you can imagine!

And, oh yeah, the gesha that ordered was so damn good. Floral, delicate, complex and 110% delicious!

If you do hit up .coffee's brunch at the Gastown location, you're gonna wanna go EARLY! We got there right after it was open and the whole cafe was full! With a lineup when we left.

Trust me, though, it's worth gettin there early for!
