Ontario, I’m coming back!

I’ll be splitting my time between Quinte West and Durham Region and opening up a limited number of shoots while I’m there.

I’m offering discounted rates during this trip, so it’s a good time to get something booked in.

I’ll be prioritizing restaurant and bar content, with full social media packages that include photo and video. But I’ll still be taking on families, couples, pets, and events as well.

If you’ve been meaning to update your content, this is your sign.

Message me for details and pricing.

About a month ago I tagged along with to her shoot at to capture BTS for her.

I ended up seeing fixing her hair in the mirror and asked her if I could take photos of her doing it. These photos turned out SO good and I'm in love with her style.

She is an incredible artist as well, so I highly recommend checking out her page.

Recent vibes at

Almost every month we get together to create new content for their marketing and social media. It’s always a mix of capturing new dishes, highlighting the space, and finding fresh ways to tell the story of the restaurant.

I’m very grateful to Jillian and Scott for the creative freedom they give me every time we shoot. That trust allows me to keep experimenting and improving how their food and space are captured.

I’m also thankful for the collaboration Jillian and I have built over the years. Great work always comes from great teamwork.

After a few years, I finally had the chance to photograph the lovely .the.orange again.

It’s always such a joy working with people who are comfortable enough to laugh, be a little silly, and just enjoy the moment in front of the camera. Honestly, choosing favourites from this shoot was harder than usual.

Having Conan there made the whole session even better. Such a handsome little man.

**Cheese warning**

I want to rave about my best friend for a moment. It’ll only take a minute of your time. This is a husband appreciation post with a heavy side of cheese (iykyk).

I’ve been sitting with my choices a lot lately. Looking at which ones were solid and which ones probably deserve a return to the drawing board. I’ve made a few that could use some work, but one choice I made over 12 years ago is one I would never change or regret.

This next part is for Chris. Everyone else can keep reading if they think they can handle the cheese. (PS: only Chris can actually handle the cheese. 😉)

I am so unbelievably grateful to get to experience life with you. The highs, the lows, and all the completely ordinary days in between. I’m lucky to have a marriage that’s also the best friendship I could have asked for. No matter what choices I make, I know you’ll support me and be there for me, usually with a bit of good old fashioned roasting. But regardless, you’d help me in any way you could. And what fun is life if we can't laugh at ourselves?

We laugh all the time. Even when I'm riddled with anxiety or spiralling, you always make me laugh. You make people feel seen and welcome and have such a caring heart. Watching the way you treat others and help others is like, 12/10 hot, actually no, 20/10 hot. Same with watching you smile and laugh. Your laugh is what home feels like, it's literally my favourite sound. (My next favourite sound is the sound of Norman's tail thumping when we tell him "good morning".) Your laugh also reminds me of Nanny, I can still picture her watching you laugh, and hear her saying "I love his laugh so much."

You know me better than I know myself. I’ve become who I am today because of the life we’ve already lived together. And I really like who I am. When I think about the next 10, 20, even 40 years, I can’t wait to experience all of it with you. I'm even excited for those sleep deprived nights because Norman is being a bed hog but he's just cuddling too cute to make him move.

I love you. So much. Thank you for being the sunshine for me everyday. ☀️☀️

2025 taught me more than I expected, just not in the ways I thought it would.

I went into the year with timelines, goals, and a pretty clear idea of what I thought progress was supposed to look like. What I actually learned was that growth doesn’t always move in a straight line, and it definitely doesn’t move at the same pace for everyone. Comparing my path to someone else’s only created pressure that wasn’t helpful or accurate.

This year showed me that slowing down isn’t falling behind. Taking time to learn, reflect, and make intentional choices has been just as important as any visible milestone. A lot of the progress I made won’t show up neatly on a highlight reel, but it changed how I work and how I show up creatively.

I also learned that I don’t need to force myself into one narrow box to be successful. Curiosity and range have always been part of how I create, and instead of fighting that, I’m choosing to build depth across the things I care about. That shift alone has brought a lot more clarity and confidence.

These lessons didn’t change everything overnight, but they’ve changed how I move forward. There’s still a lot I’m unpacking and learning, and I’ll keep sharing pieces of it as I go.

If 2025 felt slower, heavier, or different than you planned, you’re not alone. Sometimes those are the years that shape us the most.

These photos were taken back in 2021, but the relationship behind them started years earlier.

I’ve been working with this adorable family since 2019, and they’ve been part of my journey since before freelancing was even on the table.

Relationships like this are why I do what I do. Trust built over time matters just as much as the final images.

Grateful for clients who grow with you.

Shoutout to Brittni for trusting me with her journey since day one. 🤎🤎

Going into 2026, I’m being a lot more intentional about how I work and what I put my energy into.

I’m focusing less on speed and shortcuts and more on building real, transferable creative skills. That means being more thoughtful about the tools I use, learning with purpose instead of consuming everything at once, and giving myself the space to actually practise and improve instead of rushing to keep up.

I’m also actively choosing to slow down. Not every idea needs to turn into content immediately, and not every skill needs to be monetized right away. Slowing down has helped me create better work, make clearer decisions, and stay more aligned with why I started in the first place.

One of the biggest things I’m taking into 2026 is refusing to force myself into a single box just to feel more marketable. I’ve always been multi-disciplinary, and I’m leaning into that instead of fighting it. Curiosity and range aren’t a lack of focus, they’re strengths when you take the time to build depth behind them.

This year is about intention over urgency, growth over labels, and building something that actually feels sustainable long-term. If you’re heading into the new year rethinking how you work or create, you’re not alone.
