I just hit “send” on my last newborn gallery of 2025.

This year I shot 15 newborn sessions alone. In total, I shot 65 sessions this year so far and by new years that will be 66! A new record for me, and pretty incredible when you think about the fact I had a baby at home full time with me for most of the year.

To say I’m proud of myself is an understatement.

To every one of my clients who booked me and trusted me to photograph them in a way that was honest and down to earth this year, THANK YOU. You are literally supporting my dream, my art, my family and my future. ❤️❤️❤️

I feel BIG things coming for 2026. Birth, weddings, mat leave memory sessions, and of course lots and lots of maternity, newborn and family sessions!!

My inbox is open! 💌

For now, it’s time to rest a bit. All responses to inquiries have been sent and I’m hopping off the editing train for a bit.

I plan to soak up some family time, stare at my baby, eat a lot of good food and just bask in the gorgeous light that is my life and people.

You will never believe what happened right before we captured these shots…

my favourite thing about sessions with young kids is the chaos and fun. The harder you try to keep them still, the more energy they must release!

During this in home session we went through the entire house playing! Inevitably, someone is gonna slip or bump into something.

The morning of this session, we had a few incidents, including me spilling a bit of water from a humidifier on the floor and the youngest promptly slipping in it (of course 😩).

The kids got me back later by managing to remove the pantry door just in time for the back of my head to catch it! (It was not heavy I was ok and honestly just glad I was able to take the blow instead of the kids!)

For some photographers, this session would’ve felt out of control and too wild - for me, it was completely perfect!

In my sessions with little kids my inner mind mantra is - keep it moving! We don’t spend too long doing one thing and when a mood starts to change, we switch it up quickly!

The best thing you can do as parents, is to do everything in your power to stay positive and upbeat.

Kids are incredibly resilient and sometimes those moments of tenderness are actually so sweet to capture.

When they fall down and run to you for help, I don’t ignore those moments during your shoot. I document it!

And I’m more than happy to get knocked around a bit while I do it!

In my busiest season of work yet, I’m working hard to get all your galleries to you within the three weeks I quote from your shoot date!

But today, work is paused so I can keep my baby home from daycare and spend some quality time with him. He got his shots earlier this week and has been feeling especially clingy. Each day I’ve dropped him off since, I’ve felt guilty. He cried a lot they said. 😭 So today we’re spending it together.

This is why I’m so grateful and motivated to be building this business and to do the work I do. To put families first and also to be able to do the same with my own. To ebb and flow and adapt.

It’s the same reason why I let my clients reschedule a shoot if everyone’s moods that day are trash.

It’s why I’m drawn to birth photography, to documenting fleeting moments.

Because I really, really, want to feel present and alive in my life. I want to be able to wake up and decide that today I’m going to spend it with my kid.

Does that mean that tonight after 7pm I’m going to be working? Yeah, it does.

But for me that is the kind of balance that feels good for me and my lifestyle, and for my family.

So to my clients, even the people considering booking me, thank you!! You are making this possible and the future looks so bright 🥹💕

Camping with a baby… not easy but SO worth it. We went on four camping trips this summer and each one I’ll remember forever.

Honestly I’m in love with what I’m capturing and creating lately, just haven’t had much time to share it. But it’s all coming, for those who want to see. Maybe a book… maybe a show… one day.

I’m back from vacation and officially ✨on call✨ waiting to capture the magical moments when this gorgeous mom births her littlest baby earthside.

After her family photos, Dad (legend) took the kids home for bedtime and Dani and I hung out for a bit soaking up the most incredible golden hour, celebrating her strength, beauty and power and all the hard work it’s taken to get here.

It’s so special to document this stage. I will never grow tired of it.

The skies really showed up and these photos, well they’re honestly making me miss being pregnant.

Which photo is your favourite? I personally can’t decide 😭😭😭
