It's incredible to think that our daughter is celebrating her second birthday today! It feels like just yesterday that we marked her first year of life. Watching her mature into a bright, affectionate and independent kid has been such an amazing experience. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us. ☺️

After 3 years of trying, I finally have some photos of Edmonton's High Level Bridge lit up for Crohn's and Colitis Awareness month!

I'm working on a proper post as well but my time as a stay at home ostomy dad is fairly limited but I'll do my best to get something together. Going to be on the topic of my ostomy surgery was the reason why my daughter came to be.

Happy World Ostomy Day 2024!

I've felt rather terrible about my advocacy over the last year. Been so busy being a dad that I barely have time to get around to doing much else. But honestly, it's all because of Shawn the Stoma. Without my Ostomy surgery, I wouldn't even be a dad let alone a dad that can run around and play with my daughter. I'm thankful every day for it giving me my new life with my wife & daughter.

Brae is officialy 1 today and both Syd & I are still having a hard time coming to terms with it. How has it already been an entire year?! It is crazy how far our little girl has come just over the last couple of months as we are now in the stage of trying to keep up with her walking all over the place. All she wants to do is walk & investigate every little thing she comes across and is so interested in everything and how it all works. She honestly leaves us in awe every single day. We're so lucky to have her in our lives.

We can't wait for all the adventures we're going to have over the next year! Happy Birthday Baby Girl ❤️
