Hi! I think it’s about time I properly reintroduce myself. 🤍

I’m Chevelle ( some know me as Ella) , the face behind Ella Mack Creative your professional third wheel, wedding photographer, videographer, planner, professional dress fluffer, timeline wrangler, number 1 hype woman, and the person who will most definitely be crying during your vows right alongside your grandma.

If you’ve been here for a while, welcome back. If you’re new here, I’m so happy you’re here. I appreciate every single one of you!

A little life update…

Life has looked a little different lately.

Since March, my two nieces have been living with us full-time. Becoming a full-time auntie wasn’t something I expected this year, but it has become one of the greatest blessings of my life. It comes with its challenges, plenty of chaos, and a lot more water consumption, but I truly wouldn’t change it for the world.

On the business side, wedding season is in full swing, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for every couple who trusts me with such an important day.

One more update… in October I’ll be heading in for reconstructive foot surgery (round two, this time on the other foot). That means my availability this fall will be more limited while I recover.

Some wedding days don’t go according to plan… they turn out even better. 🤍

Amanda & Anthony’s day was one for the books.

From saying “I do” surrounded by loved ones at Saint Maria Goretti Church, to wandering the historic halls of the University of Alberta’s Old Arts Building, and celebrating the night away at the DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton, every moment felt timeless.

Then… the skies opened.

We got absolutely poured on while creating their wedding film, but not once did these two let the rain steal the joy of their day. They laughed through every drop, embraced the unexpected, and trusted us completely. Those are the moments that become your favourite memories.

Rain doesn’t ruin a wedding day, it becomes part of the story. ☔️✨

Amanda & Anthony, thank you for allowing us to capture the beginning of your forever. Your love, your families, and the incredible celebration you created made this a day we’ll never forget.

If you’re worried your groomsmen photos are going to be awkward… don’t be. 😂

Let’s be honest.. most guys would rather do just about anything than stand around posing for photos. That’s exactly why we don’t.

I keep things moving, throw in a few ridiculous ideas, and make sure everyone is actually laughing instead of forcing fake smiles. The result? Photos that feel like your crew, not a lineup.

I promise your groomsmen photos will never be boring. They’ll be full of personality, a little bit of chaos, and the kind of memories you’ll still laugh about years from now.

Because the best photos happen when you’re having a damn good time. 🍻🤘
