If washing your face is your favourite part of the day this one’s for you ✨

I’ve been using for a long time now and in my mid-30s I care way more about consistency and quality than anything else when it comes to good skincare routine!

What I love the most is it’s clean medical-grade—so the ingredients are actually doing something but it still feels gentle and really supportive on my skin. bonus: it’s Canadian 🤍

A few of my go-to’s:

Purifying Gel Cleanser — gets everything off without that tight, stripped feeling (and oil-free)

Ultimate Boost Serum — recently added this in and WOW… especially the morning after retinol, it just brings my skin back to life

Retinol 0.5 — a few nights a week and over time you really see the difference in texture + clarity

AluminEye — brightens, smooths, helps with puffiness… basically makes me look more awake than I feel 😅

HydraDew — SO soft, packed with peptides and really locks in that hydrated, smooth feeling

Clear Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 42 — lightweight and a non-negotiable for me ☀️

A couple extras I also love:

MicroDerm Polish — especially with the dry Alberta weather, a good scrub is key. This one leaves my skin feeling so smooth without overdoing it

Bright & Clear Solution — amazing for revitalizing your complexion and bringing back that brightness

How important is it for you to feel seen?

I think about this a lot when it comes to branding sessions (well, all my work really, but I digress), and I’ve realized it’s not really about the photos looking perfect. No, it’s more about how it feels to be in them, and if you really see you.

The ones I love feel a bit more open, like we’re not rushing or trying to make something happen. I can actually feel the person in front of me—how they hold themselves, what matters to them, the face they want to show the world. It’s still guided, still intentional, just not overly forced. It’s just them.

This branding session I did with the wonderful — someone I admire so deeply, not just as an artist but as a person and a friend, it was so special! We spent the morning laughing, creating, and connecting. There’s something so powerful about women in a room just being themselves.

This job has given me so much. Travel, beautiful weddings, places I never thought I’d be in… but that’s not really the part that I sticks with me. It’s the people, the connection, the lives I get to step into for a little while. That’s what means everything to me, and I feel so lucky to do this alongside incredible people and artists like my pal Georgia.

Social media has been a hard place for me to live in lately, but it’s also gifted me so much. New friendships, connection, community and the chance to share images that actually mean something to the people in them and to me. So that’s what I try to hold onto when I do show up on here.

Because when it’s all said and done, I think we all just want to feel seen ✨

This branding session was such a joy to photograph and to share space together in a new creative way.

Steph came into the shoot wanting to embody her yoga practice in a way that felt elevated but still deeply authentic to her. Our hope was to create imagery that carries a sense of luxurious ease. Something calm and spacious that invites movement, breath, and mindfulness. Shooting the session in digital and blending in black and white film felt like the perfect fit.

It was truly really special to spend a few hours simply just creating together and leaning into what felt good.

Which is really my whole goal for this year. I’m feeling very inspired to start offering more branding work with likeminded souls who value art and intention ✨

Diana & Shane’s wedding at the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was a reminder that doing things your way changes everything. When you give yourselves permission to slow down, be present, and truly celebrate how YOU want — the day unfolds exactly as it should!

A little wrap-up of a very full year 🤍

I’m feeling really grateful for my clients, the places this work took me, and the life I get to build around it.

Before stepping into 2026, I’m taking a moment to be honest about what I’m leaving behind and what I want to carry forward.

Leaving behind:
• Overworking to feel secure
• Comparing myself online
• Treating rest like it’s optional

Carrying with me:
• A slower, more sustainable pace
• Work that feels good, not just looks good
• More presence with my people and in my life

If you feel like it, I’d encourage you to write down your own three and step into the new year a little lighter.
