Part2: Our baby had just started teething and learned to crawl the day before this shoot — which meant he was emotional, clingy, and needed a lot of attention. And yet… we pulled it off.

Between outfit changes, makeup touch-ups, and camera setups, there were diaper breaks, cuddles, and snack distractions for 👶🏻. This wasn’t just a photoshoot — it was a beautifully chaotic collaboration across time zones, creativity, and parenting realities.

Here are some of our favorite final images from the shoot. They’re more than portraits to us — they’re reminders of what’s possible when creativity, patience, and heart come together. ❤️

There was a large selection of and with delicious food. Love the energy from the guests and they offered to order me the prettiest drinks to take pictures 🤩🍹

Getting closer and closer to meeting along with so many other life events all happening at the same time.

I have been wanting to do a time capsule video interviewing her thoughts, plans, and ideas. She didn’t want it at first but things got super emotional as soon as we started (interview end up being 1.5 hours of talking)

I know there is a special bond between the mother and the unborn child I will NEVER be able to truly experience, but from the interview I realize how much she misses those feelings of being a mother, being the protector.
We are excited for the next stage but there is just so much more we want to do still! I know we will never be truly ready but this is truly the feeling!

A big shoutout to 💄 and the bravery of .wong for toughing out getting two sessions done back to back. And obviously my mom for cutting my 📸 camera connection by calling while I got in the tub and rescuing us after. This is the photo she ended up with 😂 GOOD JOB MOM!
These new life changes in the past couple of years made me realize how much I need photography for my heart and I am excited to see how will bring us in .mpstudio

First take on Photography! 🥛📸

Some of you may be aware but we found out we’re expecting earlier in October literally right after we decided to begin looking into intervention conceiving a baby.

For the last 3 years, we questioned when the best time was and how much to scale back in taking more filming and photo projects, even to just step back, reflect, and refine ourselves as a creative or as a business.

This year you may still see Jonny here and there serving limited amount of couples in weddings but we will both be taking some time for and our memory cards will be filled with baby pictures and maternity photos!

If you want to have parent talks and baby meetups in the future you know I am still checking DMs and our emails!

We are still considering limited number of filming and photography next year depending on dates, don’t be shy in reaching out!

🍂Been getting a lot of requests to do a at the fountain this year! Every venue they chose are super breath taking and we can’t wait to finish the edits❤️
D&H put in tons of thoughts and details in every aspect of their wedding, and still managed to include all their loved ones (pet included)

These two cuties had the funnest and most energetic bunch of friends/family ever! S&I scheduled 5 hours of their time dedicated to going around signature Edmonton spots to take photos before heading into their reception. Despite the smoke and colder weather everyone filled the day with energy, laughter, and a lot of good lookin pictures! The beautiful always occasions manchester square venue was also beautiful inside and out!

S&R have something special going on and I was lucky enough to get to uncover their love story and their personalities piece by piece. Thankful that R&S trusted in me and gave me the freedom to pull off something like this.
No references here but everyone in the wedding involved were like family, and all the guests look like people straight out of a movie. I won’t mention how lucky I am to get this opportunity to make this but I will say I still can’t believe I got to jam in , in costumes, beautiful humans all in one film. What are the chances??
